(North Canton, OH – January 13, 2009) – Stark State College has announced recent new hires and promotions:
Thomas Chiappini, of Canton, has been promoted to chief operating officer and treasurer. Chiappini, who holds a master’s degree in business administration from Ashland University, previously served as vice president for business and finance at Stark State.
Rebecca Priest, a Massillon resident, has been named senior director, emerging technologies and strategic grants. She has a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University and previously was Stark State’s director of strategic grant development.
Marcia Addision is the new director of the campus library. She comes to Stark State from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC, where she served as assistant director of access services. The North Canton resident has a bachelor’s degree from Winthrop University and a master’s degree from the University of South Carolina.
Sara Klink, of North Canton, is the new assistant director of the campus library. Previously the reference/instruction librarian at Ashland University, she earned both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Kent State University.
Teresa Sandrock, of Canton, has been promoted to assistant director of human resources. Formerly a human resource specialist at Stark State, she holds a master’s degree in business administration from Ashland University.
